2008 Sacramento Swearing-In Committee (2008)
Organized the inauguration of Sacramento Mayor Kevin
Johnson on November 25th at Memorial Auditorium with over 2000
attendees. Created theme, "Together We Can." Handled all
logistical aspects of event including talent, decorations,
program, VIP reception, volunteer training and event execution.
Stand Up (2011)
Organized Mayor Kevin Johnson's 3rd Grade Reading Initiative
Launch, Reading Matters, at the 40 Acres Art Gallery. Over750 attendees
gathered information on reading programs and family services, enjoyed
musical entertainment and face painting, and heard from education experts.
For Arts' Sake (2009-2010)
Appointed Mayor Kevin Johnson's liaison to the arts in June 2009.
Launched and manage the Mayor's arts initiative including monthly group
meetings of 150+attendees, development of Leadership Team and committees
(Film, Funding, Arts Education, Marketing and Facilities) leading to the
creation of an action plan that will help the arts in Sacramento survive
and thrive in good and challenging times.

ACSED (2010-2011)
Event planner for 1st and 2nd annual all day symposiums for 200 state
employees with disabilities.
HealthCorps (2012)
Assisting with the organization of "Journey to Oz" fundraiser
scheduled for April 30 at the Memorial Auditorium with Dr.Oz. This
star-studded event will raise money to support Dr. Oz's efforts to end
childhood obesity. Stay tuned for more details on honorees!
Sacramento Press Club (2011)
Organized their "Dancing with the Capitol Stars" event, celebrating
the 50th Anniversary of the SPC. The event include 12 media and political
stars competing for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Over 500 guests were
entertained by the dancers as well as the honoring of LA Times Journalist,
George Skelton. SPC. The event NET over $45,000 for scholarships for
journalism students.
Sacramento Asian Chamber of Commerce (2011-2012)
Organized the first annual "Hoops & Alley Oops" - Jumpstart 21's
Regional Celebrity Basketball Tournament in November 2011. The Tournament featured elected officials, media and
community leaders competing to determine who the Regional Basketball Champs
really are in front of over 200 attendees (City of Elk Grove won!) Proceeds
of $40,000 NET benefit the Jumpstart 21 program that helps youth
emancipating from foster care develop life and job skills. Organizing the
2nd Annual tournament scheduled for September 10, 2012.
USA Properties (2011)
Organized their 30th Anniversary Celebration for 300 guests.
Sacramento Theatre Company (2009-2010)
Assisted in organizing "The Show Must Go On", a fundraiser using
prior Six Degreez acts. The event drew over 1000 attendees are raised nearly
$150,000.
Friends & Neighbors for Jay Schenirer (2009-2010)
Campaign finance manager for successful candidate for City Council.
Junior Achievement and Wind Youth Center (2010-2011)
Organized "Hungry for Life" progressive dinner party on May 16, 2011
netting $21,000 for these two non-profits that work to improve the lives of
Sacramento youth.
My Sister's House (2010-2012)
Organized their 10th Anniversary Gala at the Crest Theatre on May 23, 2011 - "One
Night Only." Over 600 attendees enjoyed a song and dance show featuring
Emcee Christopher Cabaldon and local celebrities. $80,000 was net to provide
a safe haven to Asian women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.
Organizing their 2012 Gala, "Stop! In the Name of Love" scheduled for May
14, 2012.
The Vibe Foundation (2010)
Created first "Good Vibrations" fundraiser on March 1 - a look at the
youth movement through music since the 1950's. Senate President pro tem
Emceed this star studded cast which net $25,000 for the development of a
Midtown youth lounge.
Entrepreneurs Organization, Entrepreneurs Foundation & SARTA
(2008-2012)
Created and organized three Annual Liquidity Events, highlighting
recent liquidity events in Sacramento and honoring socially responsible
entrepreneurs. Past Emcees include Mayor Kevin Johnson and former
Assembly Member Roger Niello. Past keynote speakers include 49ers Quarterback Steve Young,
now with H&G
Capital and Chip Conley with Joie d'Vivre Hotels. The event draws 300 attendees
each year and
has cumulatively net over $40,000.
Entrepreneurs Foundation of the Capital Region (2006-2008)
Executive Director of this non-profit organization dedicated to
strengthening the ties between entrepreneurial companies in the
Sacramento region and the communities in which they operate.
Lionakis Design Group (2009)
Organized their Centennial Celebration for 300 guests. Secured
declaration by Sacramento City Council of "Lionakis Day".
Professional BusinessWomen of California (2008)
Provided introductions of organizers to local community leaders for
the 5th Annual Sacramento Conference.
Inalliance (2008)
Provided marketing support and emceed for their 6th Annual Celebrity
Chef Challenge, scheduled for June 6, 2008 at the Old Sugar Mill.
Ettore (2009-2011)
Created & organized 1st Annual Ettore's Coffee Break to benefit
Wellspring Women Center. 175 attendees generated a net profited of
$8,000. Planned 2nd and 3rd annual events to benefit the Youth
Development Network. The event draws over 250 attendees annually and has net
cumulatively $55,000.
Senator Darrell Steinberg (2005)
Organized tribute dinner to outgoing school board member, Jay
Schenirer for 400 attendees. Raised $8,000 for SACT.
Breakthrough Sacramento (2008 - 2009)
Created and organized their first annual "Early Risers" breakfast
on March 13, 2008 to honor Sacramentans who have risen to the occasion
early and often for education. 300 attendees netted $30,000 for this
nonprofit. Organized the 2nd Annual "Early Risers" breakfast on March
26, 2009.
California Housing Partnership Corp. (2008)
Organized their Fiscal Policy Summit and 20th Anniversary Legislative
Reception honoring Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Senator Darrell
Steinberg, Assemblymember & Speaker Karen Bass and others for their
commitment to providing affordable housing in California at the Sheraton
Grand on June 2, 2008.
Union Pacific (2008)
Provided organizational assistance for their legislative day on May 21,
2008.
UC Davis M.I.N.D. Institute (2008)
Organizied Randi Knott's 40th Birthday Party Fundraiser on
August 21, 2008 at the M.I.N.D. Institute, netting $18,000.
Mercy Perinatal Recovery Network (2008-2009)
Created and organized "Blues for Baby & Me", a fundraising event
held on February 20, 2008. The Sheraton Grand Hotel was
converted into a blues nightclub with performances by local Sacramento
celebrities impersonating acts around "The Blues." The event
generated $80,000 for the organization. Organized "I've Got You Babe"
on February 4, 2009 generating $42,000 for the client.
St John's Shelter for Women & Children (2007-2008)
Created and organized "Celebrating Mothers 2007, A St John's Tea Party
(and this ain't your mother's tea party!)" fundraiser, with 450
attendees and a net profit of $102,000. Organized "Celebrating Mothers
2008" on May 7, 2008 which was attended by 750 guests and net
$110,000.
Summit Eating Disorder & Outreach Program (2007)
Created and organized 1st Annual "Hungry for Life"
progressive dinner party for 300 guests, netting $48,000.
Down Syndrome Information Alliance (2008-2009)
Organized "Hungry for Life" progressive dinner party on May 19, 2008
for 250 guests, netting $43,000. Organized 2nd Annual event May 18, 2009
for 250 guests with a $25,000 net.

Successfully conducted candidate search for their Community Relations

at Fairytale Town for 1000 attendees, raising $200,000. Organized several low ticket parties, netting an additional $100,000.

Roberts Family Development Center (2005-2011)
Created and organized the 1st - 6th Annual "Suits & Slippers" breakfast
event, raising a combined total net profit of $330,000. Created and
organized the five Annual "Dinner with Darrell Steinberg at Mulvaney's B&L" which
has raised over $100,000 in net proceeds. Currently planning the 7th
Annual Suits & Slippers.

Organized the retirement
party for the former Executive Director of the Sierra Health Foundation for 200 guests.

Co-chaired the Jan Stohr

partnership with the Sacramento County Office of Education and the

Organized the
Council's tribute event to California State Director of Rehabilitations,
Catherine Campisi (2007) with a net profit of $25,000. Organized Dennis Mangers' 65th Birthday Bash/Fundraiser,(2005) resulting
in a $28,000 net profit for the Capital Unity Council.
Opening Doors (2006)
Organized the 4th Annual "Learning to Live in America" resource fair
for 5000+ Hispanic immigrants at Southside Park which raised over $40,000 in
net profits.
Equality California (2006, 2010)
Organized 1st annual Legislative Reception to honor those legislators
that supported the Marriage Equality bill in 2005. Organizing October 11,
2010 birthday bash for Senator Darrell Steinberg & Dennis Mangers to benefit EQCA.
Wells Fargo (2006)
Provided contact invitation list for grand opening of Stockton Blvd
mortgage center.
